SAE 1026 tubes

The carbon steel grade AISI 1026 also contains significant amounts of silicon and manganese. About 0.4% silicon and 1.2% manganese are contained in NOM B-203 Grade 1026 mechanical pipes. 

 

SAE 1026 carbon steel tubing meets several specifications, including ASTM A29, ASTM A510, ASTM A512, and ASTM A513. Cold-finished and hot-rolled boiler pipes are covered by ASTM A29 Grade 1026. To comply with ASTM A29, pipes must undergo heat and product analyses as well as grain size and mechanical tests.

 

The main components of Grade 1026 Seamless Boiler Pipes are carbon, manganese, phosphorus, and sulfur. The diameter of seamless pipes ranges from 6mm to 323.8mm. 

 

There are four types of pipes: welded, ERW, seamless, and EFW. In welding, ERW and EFW, coils, plates or sheets are welded from end to end, while seamless pipes are drawn from billets. The AS 1443 Grade K1026 Tube is available in round, rectangular, and square shapes.

 

U tubes for hydraulics and heat exchangers are also available. The products are available in single random, double random, and custom cut to length sizes. Grade 1026 is subject to SAE and AISI standards. The seamless tubing SAE 1026 is resistant to high temperatures and has a high strength.

 

Furthermore, they are corrosion-resistant. The minimum yield strength is 415 MPa, and the minimum tensile strength is 490 MPa with 15% elongation at break. The material is capable of withstanding wear and tear. The Brinell hardness of ASTM A510 Grade 1026 Tubing is 143, and the Rockwell hardness is 78. 

The high strength of carbon steel products makes them ideal for oil and gas, petroleum, petrochemical, structural, and construction applications. UNS Grade G10260 Round Tube can be welded using most traditional welding methods. The tubes are also used in boilers and heat exchangers due to their high heat resistance.
